our lighting services
The way of DUA is balancing artistry and technical refinement.
It is where light meets space, heritage craftsmanship meets advanced technology, and physical presence meets ethereal absence. We believe the purpose of light is not simply to illuminate, but to transform how a space is felt. This is the balance we pursue. This is DUA.

Lighting Designers In History
We stand on the shoulders of giants. Explore the work of the master lighting designers who have shaped our philosophy and continue to inspire our craft.

Achille Castiglioni
A master of playful functionality, he transformed everyday objects into timeless icons. His work reflects a belief that design should solve problems with elegance and joy.

Poul Henningsen
A pioneer of modern Danish lighting, he devoted his life to the study of light itself. His PH Lamp series, engineered for glare-free, layered illumination, embodied his mission to humanize technology through design.

Ingo Maurer
Nicknamed the 'poet of light,' he blurred the boundary between art and engineering. His work celebrated wonder, humor, and emotion, reminding us that light is not a product — it’s an experience.

Richard Kelly
A founder of architectural lighting design, he developed a vocabulary for describing light’s emotional and spatial effects, coining the terms focal glow, ambient luminescence, and play of brilliants.

Shiro Kuramata
A visionary of post-war Japanese design, he fused minimalism with surreal imagination. Through acrylic, glass, and steel, he created furniture and lighting that seemed weightless.

Gino Sarfatti
Founder of Arteluce, he designed hundreds of luminaires that defined modern Italian lighting. He balanced innovation with refinement, seeing light as both functional and vital.
FEATURED BLOG
There is a unique stillness to the moment before a line is cast into dark water. It’s a moment of hope, of patience, of connection to an unseen world teeming with life.
Have you ever walked into a room and instantly felt at ease? Or felt energized and focused in a workspace? Chances are, the lighting had a lot to do with it.
In our studio, we talk about light in textures and whispers. We speak of a soft glow that holds a room like a blanket, a sharp beam that tells you where to look, or a sparkle that brings a space to life.
We have always known that light is more than just illumination. It is the warmth on a windowsill that signals the start of a day; the soft glow over a dinner table that turns a meal into a memory.
For a century, architectural lighting had a simple job: to push back the darkness. We measured its success in brightness, in the stark ability to see a task or navigate a room.
